:Part of a successful marriage is about compromise and she doesn't sound too compromising.I'm in the same boat as him. Infact, I think I'm a few miles ahead of him in the same waters. I havent spent a dime on my Z in over two years. (it hasn't even been driven in that long either) However, I chose to spend my free time with my wife and kids. But ditching your wife while having small kids (such as Rojo) is completely selfish in itself. Specifically, if I work 10-14 a day, she's without adult conversation or help for that long. For me to come home and say, "I'll be in the garage" is ultimately childish and selfish. Sure, life needs balance, but being considerate of your mate is a whole other deal. I *hate* that I do not have the time to PLAY with my toys. But I'm raising kids and trying to have fun with it. Kids are fun, but they're a shit ton of work. I feel guilty after an easy day at work, knowing the crap she's had to endure. So when I get home, I make an effort to make her evening a little easier. I'm with you Rojo, but I don't have an answer for you. IMHO.
